08/20/2010 - Boston, MA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Toronto Blue Jays activated catcher John Buck from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

He had been on the DL since August 4 with a right thumb injury after taking a foul ball off his right hand in a 5-1 loss to the New York Yankees on August 4.

Prior to the stint on the DL, Buck was batting .277 with 14 home runs and 49 runs batted in over 84 games.

Toronto made room for Buck by optioning catcher J.P. Arencibia to Triple-A Las Vegas following Wednesday's game.
